SAY CHEESE

As a small child I couldn’t figure out why my grandfather instructed my family to "sit still and say cheese” but I was fascinated by that strange little white box he looked through while doing so. "What was this mysterious contraption?," I wondered. Grandpa's Polaroid land camera was his prized possession; you rarely saw him without it and I wasn’t allowed to get my sticky little hands anywhere near it! Luckily, I soon got my own camera and never looked back. Pet photography has given me an opportunity to incorporate the two things I enjoy most in life: photography and my love of animals.
